This past Saturday, YES Prep high school students put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test at Design Quest 2025, an exciting design-thinking challenge hosted at the Spindletop Center. Students worked in teams to tackle real-world problems, developing innovative solutions ranging from visual campaigns to groundbreaking tech ideas.

The event was structured to inspire collaboration and critical thinking, kicking off with a career panel featuring industry professionals, followed by teamwork sessions where students brainstormed and refined their projects with support from mentors. The day culminated in presentations and judging, where students showcased their ideas and competed for top recognition.

A huge thank you to all the students who participated, the teachers who guided them, and our incredible Spindletop Community Impact Partners for making this event possible.
