 Update: New Campus Executive Assistant

Hello, Wizard Families! Welcome Manuel Garcia to Southeast Secondary as the new campus Executive Assistant starting March 20th. Mr. Garcia will be supporting our School Principal Ms. Ryans and our Resident Principal, Ms. Ussery. Mr. Garcia will be sending out Southeast Secondary communication moving forward. Ms. Palacios was at Southeast Secondary from 2019-2023 as our campus executive assistant and will be transitioning to a new role in YES Prep Public Schools.

Hello Wizard Families!

I am Ms. Ussery and I will be serving YES Prep Southeast as the Resident Principal through the end of the school year. Southeast is my 4th YES Prep Campus since I joined YES Prep in 2015. I began this journey at YES Prep Hoffman as a 8th Grade reading teacher and GLC. Then, I moved to YES Prep Southside where I was a teacher, Grade Level Chair, Dean of Instruction, and Director of Academics. I started the principal residency program at YES Prep Northline.

I am looking forward to working alongside students, families, and staff and leading the Wizards to the finish line.
